Robotic dogs in Brisbane and Queensland
Robotic companion pups for older Queenslanders and aged care homes in Brisbane, South-East Queensland and regional Queensland, quoted by suppliers.
Queensland has a close link to robotic animal research. The largest Australian trial of a robotic animal in aged care ran across 28 facilities in South-East Queensland, led by Griffith University, and used the PARO seal. Robotic dogs were not part of that trial, and its results apply to PARO rather than to pups.

Parcels to regional and far north Queensland can take longer. If a pup is going to a home in a hot area, ask the supplier about battery storage and keep spares somewhere cool.
Buying for a Queensland aged care home
A home adding pups to an existing set of robotic cats can start with one or two for a wing, then watch which residents pick up the dog and which prefer the cat. Record the response in each resident’s care plan. Our page on robotic dogs for aged care homes covers numbers, cleaning and battery routines.
